...but I like my smooth jazz menu music too much to mute the Menu BGM.
Apparently it was in GT5 as well. I guess I muted its Menu BGM much earlier.

What!? I love this song and was actually trying to find what it was. It's my favorite in GT6.

GT either has the best or worst soundtrack in the world. I wish I could get GT5 to play The Entertainer (below) all the time.

Am I the only one that mutes the race bgm and replay bgm? It gets repetitive and annoying, and I want to hear the cars.

Yeah, I liked The Entertainer, too. After spending a lot of time in GT Auto, it got tiring too, though.
I'm just waiting for the Christmas music to come on like they did in GT5.

Oh, I've been muting the Race BGM on day one since GT1. The Menu BGM eventually gets muted, too, but GT5's menu had Christmas music closer to Christmas, and I want to see if GT6 will be the same. After that, I'll mute everything.

Everything gets tiring after a while. Video games have killed a lot of songs for me. But GT just doesn't make any pleasant noises, be it from the musical selection or the cars. GT6 might be different but I doubt it.

GT5 let you upload your own group of songs to play, and I think you could deactivate certain ones.... it was lost deep, deep in the menu settings somewhere.

The menu music doesn't bother me, but in races and replays it's annoying.
I miss the music that played in GT Auto in GT5, the ragtime. It always made me so happy to get an oil change. Also, the animation for the car wash and having the car painted: I miss them.

From the Start button menu: Options\Sound\Personal BGM.
Don't feel bad if you didn't find it, I just now realized that Car Selection and Car Settings are in the start button menu, and are therefore accessible right before entering a race that I've already selected. This'll be really handy for changing or adjusting a car so that I'm eligible to enter. Until now, I've been backing out all the way back to the "My Home" main menu and going to the Garage. D'oh.
